MATERIAL:Cable glands series 150 are made of electropassived brass. Under order requirements galvanized steel and stainless steel can also be used. The seals are elastomeric, black coloured, with an approximate hardness between 50 and 70 shores.

THREA:The usual threading is made in NPT according to standard ASA B.2.1. and Metric according to ISO 261 whether medium or high quality according to ISO 965.

WATERTIGHNESS: In order to fulfil the degrees of protection indicated in UNE 20324, DIN 40050 and EN 60529 and guarantee the degree of protection with the enclosure on which they are installed, the cable entries and accessories that have cylindrical thread must have a bed joint.

GROUND CONNECTION:Since the cable glands are manufactured in metal, the electrical continuity of the cable glands is achieved by means of the threading.
